How to Play Steal an Egg: Complete Gameplay Loop
Understand the official Steal an Egg gameplay loop: steal eggs, escape, hatch pets, earn money, upgrade your base, and train speed.
What is the main objective?
Your immediate objective is to bring eggs back to your base. Each successful return creates another chance to hatch a useful pet. Pets generate money, money funds upgrades, and speed gives you access to more difficult areas and safer returns.
The six-step loop
- Choose an egg route. Start where you can reliably escape rather than chasing the rarest visible egg.
- Steal one egg. Watch the guardian and nearby players before committing.
- Return to base. Carrying a larger or more contested egg can make the route harder.
- Hatch the egg. Check the resulting pet’s base income, size, and mutation.
- Upgrade income and capacity. Replace weak slots only when the new pet actually improves the total.
- Train speed. Measure your gain rate and work toward the next biome with a safety margin.
Use the egg guide, pet index, and speed calculator as you move through the loop.
